Teaching Assistant#

Our teaching assistant is Abby Truex.

Abby will be available in the lab Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-9pm to help with course work and to offer additional access to the lab equipment.

Classroom Location#

We have the exciting opportunity to hold class in the fully-equipped Hannaford Career Center Industrial Design and Fabrication Lab.

Please know that it is a 19 minute walk from campus (or a 6 minute bike ride).

I’ve been teaching Computer Animation at Middlebury College since 2011.

For the first 10 years at Middlebury I ran the Animation Studio at the college where I worked with undergraduate students to produce short animated films, interactive game prototypes and digital art projects.

Now I'm engaged in a new adventure applying all of that 3D experience toward the study of precision manufacturing and industrial design.

You can call me Daniel or Professor Houghton. My last name is a bit hard to pronounce. Just think of some intrepid sailor shouting, “Land Ho!” Ho-ton. Houghton.
